The name says it all. The G-DASH is a compact jointed swimbait that dashes just below the surface.
◆ Retrieve
On normal speed retrieves, the triple-jointed body sways side-to-side imitating a defenseless cruising baitfish as it twists and swims just below the surface.
On fast retrieves, the triple-jointed body of the G-DASH makes an intense kick that appears like a fleeing baitfish. These basic actions allow it to move fast and slow, for deceptive changes in speed that fools fish.
◆STOP&GO
The G-DASH twists and glides on the surface with a will of its own on the slightest pull of line slack, current, or wind. With this high response unique to the G-DASH, cast it and let it attract fish on its own. Retrieve it slowly by using a stop-and-go for an alluring twist. Turn the handle once or twice, stop retrieving, and the body abruptly turns. It appears like a Bluegill suddenly “stops”, then hovers gracefully for a moment. The G-DASH then tilts its head slightly up to rise. It faithfully replicates the “stillness” and “movement” of a Bluegill.
◆Tri-fins
The small “Tri-fins” (triple fins) attached on the side of the tail is a G-DASH original design inspired from surfboards and fish with superior swimming ability (marlin, tuna, sharks). These fins inhibit the tipping over seen in vibration plugs and this Bluegill-like flat-sided body, which helps maintain a sharp upright posture on any retrieval speed. Truly, a revolutionary construction. The Tri-fin’s ability to trap water also adds a special element that enables the G-DASH to come to a “dead-stop” just like a real Bluegill.
